What is the purpose of this group, anyway? Well, it's simple. It's a place for veterans to gather with other veterans to support each other and find or provide resources without unwelcome visitors who don't understand the veteran community.

Why does it cost $3 per month?

There are three reasons.

1. People who don't pay don't play. We want interaction. We want you to participate. Oftentimes, people join a free group and hang around but don't offer any value or use the resources provided. By charging a small fee, you are committing to the group that you are a member, not a visitor.

2. The fee helps to keep people away to only want to eavesdrop or aren't serious about being a part of the community.

3. Veteran Voices offers a free podcast and website with free resources. This group's limited availability of logo wear, web presence, and donated time are the only sources of support to cover the costs of running Veteran Voices.
